Good AI art, minor UI issues

I used the AI Image Generator to create some landscape art for a project. The quality was really impressive for the most part, very detailed. I liked the variety of AI Art Styles available. My main gripe was the interface felt a little clunky when trying to fine-tune prompts, not always intuitive. Delivery of the high-res exports was fast though.

Smooth process, useful tools

I ordered a batch of custom character designs using their Character Design Tool and Batch Image Generation. The ordering process was straightforward. I had a quick question about a specific output setting, and their customer support responded within an hour, which was good. The images generated were high quality, and the resolution for export was perfectly fine for my needs. One small thing, sometimes the generated images had minor artifacts, but it was easy enough to regenerate a few times to get what I wanted.

Good for quick images

Needed a quick image, used the AI Image Generator. It worked. Got my picture. Simple. The interface felt a bit plain though.

Decent tool, some minor issues

I used the Landscape AI Generator for a few background images. The results were mostly good, offering a variety of interesting scenes. The interface is intuitive, and getting started was easy. However, the AI Photo Editor felt a bit basic compared to other tools I've used, lacking some advanced features. Value for money is fair, especially with the annual plan discount, but I did notice a slight delay in image processing during busy times.

Easy to use, good results

I tried the AI Image Generator for some concept art I needed. The Text to Image Tool worked pretty well, and I got some interesting starting points. High Resolution Exports were a nice touch, though generating them took a little longer than I expected. Customer support answered a small question I had about credit usage within a few hours. Overall, a solid platform for digital art generation. It would be great if they added a few more specific art styles to choose from directly.

Awesome AI art! So good!

Generateart is fantastic! I used the AI Portrait Generator and it made some really unique images. I can't believe how creative it is. The Style Transfer Tool is so cool. I'm definitely going to use this for all my projects now. You should try it too! Sometimes the generation queue can be a bit long during peak hours.

Had fun with AI art

I just played around with the Digital Art Generator to make some cool pictures for my social media. It was pretty fun figuring out how to get the prompts just right. The results were decent, not always perfect but good enough for what I wanted. It took a little while to get the hang of it all. I liked browsing the Community Gallery for inspiration too.

Reliable for my projects

This is my third time using Generateart, mostly for the AI Art Styles and Character Design Tool. I appreciate the consistency; the quality has been reliable across all my orders. My previous experience with the Image Upscaler was good, and this time, the Batch Image Generation saved me a lot of time. It's my go-to for quick concept work. I wish they'd add more granular control over specific facial features in the portrait generator.

thinking about getting the annual plan, is it worth it? do they usually have discounts around new years or anything?

E Elizabeth Smith 3 weeks ago
I got the annual plan last Black Friday and saved like 30%, it was a pretty sweet deal. They definitely do sales around major holidays, so New Year's is a good bet.

S Sofia Green 3 weeks ago
Definitely worth it if you use it a lot. The annual discount is usually the best way to save. I think I remember seeing something around New Year's last year, so keep an eye out.

Is Generateart free to try out? Or do you have to subscribe right away?

K Kyle White 1 month ago
Yeah, they give you some free credits when you sign up. Enough to mess around and see if you like it.

L Linda Sanchez 1 month ago
Totally free to start. You get a limited number of generations, which is super handy for testing different prompts and features before you decide to buy credits or a subscription.

You get a few free goes. Not a full trial exactly, but enough to get a feel for it. Then you gotta buy credits or a subscription.

What happens to my unused credits if I don't use them all by the end of the month?

P Patricia 1 month ago
Afraid they don't roll over. Use 'em or lose 'em, as far as I know.

Nah, they reset every month if you're on a subscription. So try to use them up!

Can I actually sell the art I make with Generateart? Or is it just for personal use?

E Emma 3 weeks ago
Yeah, totally. Their terms explicitly say you get a commercial usage license. So you can use it for whatever business stuff you're doing.

Z Zach Sanchez 3 weeks ago
Yep, commercial use is fine. I've seen people selling prints and stuff they made here.

I'm a student, do they have any discounts? Trying to save some cash.

M Michelle Flores 1 month ago
I think I saw something about student discounts in their FAQs. Might be worth checking directly on their site.

M Mary W. 1 month ago
They do! You usually have to verify your student status but it's a solid way to save some money on credits or a plan.

hey, trying to decide between this and Midjourney. anyone used both and can tell me which is better for character design?

L Lisa Ramirez 1 month ago
I've played with both a bit. MJ is kinda legendary but I actually found Generateart easier to get specific character poses and styles. The character design tool here is pretty good for refining stuff.

J Jason D. 1 month ago
Midjourney's cool for more 'artistic' vibes but if you want consistent characters for like, a story or game, I'd lean towards Generateart. The prompt engineering guide on their site helps too.

hey, was wondering how generateart stacks up against midjourney for like, character design? i mostly do fantasy stuff and need consistent styles.

H Hannah Johnson 1 month ago
From what I've seen, Midjourney is still king for super stylized, artsy stuff. But Generateart is getting really good for more specific character prompts, especially if you play with the negative prompts and style weights. It's also way faster for generating batches.

M Michael Parker 1 month ago
Midjourney definitely has a distinct look, but Generateart's AI Portrait Generator and Character Design Tool are pretty solid. I've gotten some good consistent characters, maybe not as 'artistic' as MJ but more controllable if you know what you're doing. Plus, you can churn out way more ideas quickly.
